Free local tools

The SRT validator and subtitle time shifter run in the current browser tab without uploading or storing file names or subtitle text. Cloud processing described below applies only if you separately open the workspace and choose a file there. The local tools may record anonymous completion and download-start counts, subject to the statistics controls below; these counts contain no subtitle text or file names.

Data processed

The service processes submitted SRT filenames, subtitle text, subtitle cues, translations, language and glossary settings, task status, and records needed for credit settlement. Accounts use an identity-provider user ID; the identity provider may process account details such as email. When you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile details (such as name and profile image) to Clerk for sign-in and account display. This sign-in connection does not request access to Gmail messages or Google Drive content.

Service providers

Clerk provides sign-in. Subtitle text and necessary context are sent to the configured DeepSeek service for translation. Cloudflare provides website hosting and data storage. These providers may process data in different countries or regions. We do not sell submitted subtitles. We use data only as needed to provide, maintain, and protect the service. For provider data practices, see DeepSeek Privacy Policy and Clerk Privacy Notice.

Support email

Messages sent to our support address are forwarded by Cloudflare to the operator’s Gmail inbox. Support replies are sent through Resend, which processes the email addresses, subject, and message body needed for delivery. This information is used to handle your inquiries, investigate issues, and send replies.

Necessary storage

Sign-in and the workspace may use cookies or local storage to maintain a session and remember necessary settings. Optional first-party aggregate usage statistics are also available. The client honors browser Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals; you can also add ?dc_metrics=off to the site address to turn off statistics events.

Aggregate usage statistics

Statistics help us understand overall use of fixed public-page categories and the workspace entry, so we can assess page and service experience. The site’s Cloudflare Worker writes statistics to a separate metrics database. Records contain only the UTC date, an allowlisted action category, interface language (English or Simplified Chinese), a fixed landing-page category, a source category (Google, Bing, other search, referral, or direct), and aggregate counts. Attribution parameters use only two fixed enums, dc_source and dc_entry, and may be passed through the on-site workspace entry and sign-in return flow; they are not linked to account identity. Test-mode data is marked separately and excluded from standard reports by default. Aggregate records are retained for 90 days and then cleared. Statistics failures do not affect workspace functions. This is not used for advertising or cross-site profiling and does not represent unique visitors, sign-ups, or individual behavior records.

Statistics and network transport

The browser processes the current page address to obtain its path and limited dc_source, dc_entry, and dc_metrics values. If no source value is present, it reads the referrer and classifies the source by hostname only. The collection endpoint reads the User-Agent for crawler filtering. Full URLs, full referrers, search queries, User-Agent values, and IP addresses are not sent as statistics fields or written to the metrics database. The statistics feature does not use cookies, analytics localStorage/sessionStorage, or unique visitor identifiers, and does not collect account details, email addresses, file names, or subtitle text. Cloudflare, as the website platform, may process IP addresses and request headers to transmit website requests; we cannot promise that the platform keeps no network logs.

Payment data

Paddle processes the email, billing address, payment method, and tax information needed for checkout. DoneCove stores the account ID, package, order and transaction IDs, payment status, amount, currency, refunds, and credit ledger for fulfillment and reconciliation. DoneCove does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes. See the Paddle Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion

Project files are kept for up to seven days; users may delete a project. Account, task, operational-log, order, and financial-ledger records are separate and may be retained independently for security, operations, or financial reconciliation. Logs and financial records do not have one common fixed retention period. We cannot promise immediate deletion of every system copy after a request.

Security and contact

The service uses access controls and session verification, and relies on security measures provided by its platforms. These are not an absolute security guarantee. Privacy requests may be sent through the support channel below.
