A closer look at the details
Follow a concrete example before working on your own file.
Before you start
Can I upload a video?
The current tool takes existing SRT files. Video transcription, audio transcription and burned-in captions are not included.
Will my subtitle timing change?
Translation keeps the original cue numbers and timestamps. It does not repair timing errors already in the source file. Check the exported subtitles in your player.
Which languages are available?
The workbench offers 24 language options, including English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. Quality varies by language pair. Try a representative excerpt first.
Does a glossary guarantee the right translation?
A glossary provides preferred translations. Context still matters, so review the output. Saving and locking a manually edited cue protects it from later retranslation.
What happens to my file?
Subtitles are stored and processed in the cloud. Text, context and terms needed for translation are sent to the model service. Workbench files are retained for 7 days; export your work in time. Only submit content you have permission to process.
How do the trial and payment work?
This is a limited test site. Each account gets one free trial of up to 30 cues and 1,200 source characters. Credit purchases are not open yet. Manual editing and export remain available.
